Ghost BSD with XFCE, LMDE 6 Cinnamon on Wayland, Linux Lite 6.x series

I'm really liking Ghost BSD, but It has advantages and limitations. Not a regular Cinnamon guy (too fork happy) but getting the Wayland thing done right would be great for Cinnamon users.

I love seeing more and more Boricuas using Linux and/or BSD's, leaving behind the "MS Windows" comfort zone, I hope the trending keeps going on up, cheers!

My first Linux coming from an IBM mainframe environment was Suse around 1998. The company I worked for then was in the midst of a mainframe to PC conversion and I was rewriting engineering documentation into MS word documents from Unix/HP text and CAD generated diagrams. What a pain. I ran Suse Linux in my home office then, and it was quite relaxing in comparison. You have a nice looking DE there.

Garuda. The default Dragon theme is really bright and colourful. I sort of like it but not sold on it yet.

Kali GNU/Linux 2024.2
Kali GNU/Linux 2024.2
Kali GNU/Linux 2024.2
Xfce DE, everything that comes with it and more
Thinkpad T61
Intel Core2 Duo T7700 @ 2.40 GHz
4 GB PC2-5300 RAM
Lenovo 100 GB HDD @ 7200 RPM
Intel HD Audio
Intel Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics
14.1" 1440x900 (WXGA+) widescreen
Intel 3945 wifi
Bluetooth

This is a build I installed at Kali 20213 and have ran continuously utilizing rolling updates with no problems at all. If there had been the first thing I would have done is upgrade that Lenovo 100 GB HDD.

It's the best running of all my Win7 and Vista Era machines, which are dying one by one, and this the only OS I'm running.

It's no different than Administrating a Debian box, is only a few months from a 3 year run on the same build, the sky still hangs high and I still survive. Learn too love it.

I make all my own wallpapers and have over 6000 images uploaded to my Deviant Art account. Reinvented myself again...

Kali GNU/Linux 2024.3 on a Lenovo T61. This is a build I started with at 2021.3 and has run continuously using rolling updates with the only problem being an impossible situation. Something I had never heard of and turned out not to exist.
