This was a few months ago. The family desktop is an old System76 Darter Pro with a broken hinge. Despite it's only four years old, System76 no longer sells the part to repair it and I can't find it anywhere online from the OEM. So I have it plugged in as a desktop with external monitor, speakers, trackball, and keyboard.

Debian GNU/Linux Bookworm running Gnome desktop. Here my son is playing SuperTuxKart.

Specs are Core i7-10510U and 32GiB of RAM with a 4TB SSD. The monitor is a Dell 2560x1440 display, eight years old.

This is our cozy little desk in the living room. It looks out to the garden and has several bookshelves on each side. On each bookshelf is a stereo speaker with right and left audio channels so it sounds great. The desk doesn't belong to anybody so anyone can bring their laptop and sit and do work. Most of the time it's my wife's laptop here.

Here is my 2023 Galago Pro that I'm currently typing on. It has a i7-1260P and 64GB of RAM and runs Debian GNU/Linux Bookworm with Gnome.

This photo was taken in the spring, before all the flowers bloomed and the trees got big. Due to the position of the kitchen, this nook is almost always in the shade and never gets direct sunlight.
