Adding Printer Icon to desktop

Hi guys!
I know I can link my system-config-printer to the desktop and when I click on that it shows my network printer.....
How do I have a link to my network printer instead?

In KDE Plasma just add the Printers widget to the desktop. In other DEs? Drag&Drop from a panel?

Yes I can add the icon for system-config-printer to the panel but that isn't the actual printer...
