[Off-Topic] SOLVED-Firefox Minimize

#1 Post by mumpkie »

With my installation of Debian 12 Firefox ESR does not have a minimize button which I always had. Why is this and can one be added via a hidden menu?

That is strange. Maybe test again with a fresh profile.

Are you using the Gnome desktop environment? It is the default desktop environment in Debian and Gnome typically only exposes the closeout 'X' button on window title bars unless you go and add them with gnome-tweaks tool.

Yes I am using the Gnome desktop. Where could I have gone to know that? Where are the Gnome Tweaks to be found? Thanks for your reply!

Code: Select all

apt install gnome-tweaks
Gnome Tweaks > Window Titlebars > Titlebar Buttons
