[Software] taking over another's project

#1 Post by torran_serra »

Hello. Through lots of luck. I managed to get in contact with the creator of the project scanvirus. A command layer on top clamscan, bash script. I was given permission to continue it. I use for my linux personal security. It's too big for the forums. So, I have to provide an external link to this script somewhere. Also, I am a very busy and have hardly any time to work on it.

It uses a creative commons license. Will that be any problem on here?

PS, this is a huge 2000+ line project. I've managed to understand a few small sections, enough to fix some bugs.

This kind of work is typically done on GitHub, GitLab or any similar service. It isn't a good idea to post it here.
