[Software] libre office bug - contact

#1 Post by torran_serra »

I'm keep getting a crash on exiting libre office, but it's random.

It says to use the package maintainer's email. I need to know it. I can create a temp email. I saved one one bug report. I don't know if it's detailed enough. Too many questions...

Need help.

There is nice package reportbug and|or reportbug-gtk, which help you to send correct message to correct address...
You also can read guides on Wiki.Debian.org: BugReport and Debian.org: Bugs: Reporting (How to report a bug in Debian using reportbug).

Hmm, I don't have an internal debian mail server. I use webmail. Can this app be used to generate text I can copy into an email?

You don't have to have an 'internal debian mail server', just an email address and internet connection.

I followed the prompts, entered the email address, pressed enter on the two about email servers. I was able to start it up again, but there was no exit button. I had to use the activities button to get an x close button.

Libre Office was updated. So, I need to see if that exit bug comes up again.

I'll wait for about another week. If it's doesn't happen by then, it's fixed. This topic is paused....
