It's running Slackware so might be slightly lighter than Debian but I doubt I'd notice. Hyperbola on the other hand is noticeably lighter and faster as they're hard core on ripping stuff out.System: Host: darkstar2.local Kernel: 5.15.145 x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 2.37-slack15) Desktop: Xfce 4.16.0

Re: Uunnecessary and unfriendly requirements
This is the machine I've been using today. The wife's. She likes it. She's used to windows so thinks the speed is fine Added another hard drive and wanted to get the data off it. Slow to start, slow to browse but very usable otherwise and I hate slow machines. People install bloat. simple as that. My main machine is better spec but only a couple years newer. I started my ancient Dragora 2 install on this machine last week and I swear it was faster than my MBP i7 with 8GB of ram . It has an old kernel so I'm guessing Kernel is getting fat as well as many programs code. Some one with more knowledge than me will probably explain. But SNS tends to be friggin bloated and slow with very little bang for you buck.
