Neat Trick: Make CLI applications look better!

#1 Post by thamarok »

Hello!

I just discovered this very neat trick to make Command Line Interface applications look better :D
Now, I'm going to give you an example and then explain you how I did it:

Here's module-assistant opened in Konsole without the neat trick enabled:

And here's the same module-assistant in Konsole; this time with the neat trick ;)

Watch and compare and if you like the "neat trick" you can have it by doing this: apt-get install dialog
That's it! Try it and see how your CLI applications look better :P

I thought dialog was usually installed by default, but maybe something I install pulls it in....

So odd, I can see the images, they are hosted on ImgSpot :?
