It looks like I need a new 4g USB dongle, it is the only dongle I can find in the local market, will it work?

if it fully supports the standard block device driver class for USB, then yes.

Is this a pre-purchase recommendation or are you asking for a post-purchase how-to?
Looks to me like the subject needs more testers.

OK. OP needs to be a bit more specific than 4g USB dongle...I probly misread that as 4Gbyte flash drive, when they are possibly referencing 4G cellular services?...
in which case, cannot authoritatively say.
However, has OP done a websearch? My quick search yields several "linux support" hits.

Yes, I'm asking for a pre-purchase recommendation in case someone has it on Debian, I'm looking for 4G router that receives SIM card, in order to put a laptop on the internet wirelessly

An alternative is to use a smartphone and either make it a wi-fi hotspot, or USB tether it to the lappy. No driver issues then, just another device, but most folks have a smartphone already.
