Hi,
I'm on Bookworm and all is flawless but i noticed something really annoying which is a scrolling bug (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/2971) affecting Gnome Nautilus, which has been solved in the subsequent major releases. The fix itself should be small enough, but I don't think it was merged into the Bookworm's Gnome version.
The bug consists in a view reset in large folders (>200 items) and thumbnail mode. It's easier to notice if you mosewheel scroll all the way down and try to scroll up. It'll randomly reset your view.
Even though the issue doesn't happen with PageUp\Down, it's still something pretty broken in the UI.
Any chance to get it fixed? Who to notify?

Hello,
The current RC bug for Debian Bookworms are: https://udd.debian.org/bugs.cgi?release ... ml#results . I currently cannot spot a RC opened bug about the issue you reported.
You can open a bug report in the Debian Bug Tracking System. It would be nice if you could test beforehand the proposed patches, if any.
The Gnome issue report you cited is locked and is not closed. If this bug affects Debian Bookwork, it will probably not be fixed for the next stable release (scheduled for June 10, 2023) since it seems not to be a release critical (RC) bug (a RC bug has a severity of grave, critical or serious).gt703109 wrote: ↑2023-05-29 20:23 I'm on Bookworm and all is flawless but i noticed something really annoying which is a scrolling bug (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/2971) affecting Gnome Nautilus, which has been solved in the subsequent major releases. I was going to, but, when using `reportbug`, I get this warning:
`Which of your email addresses should be used when sending bug reports? (Note that this address will be
visible in the bug tracking system, so you may want to use a webmail address or another address with
good spam filtering capabilities.)`
I don't have a disposable address to send from, atm. Is there a way to report bugs without exposing one own's email to the internet?

Hello,
The Debian Bug Tracking System requires a report sent by email. Please, send the bug assigned number in a follow-up message after reporting it.
