Are crossposts between sites ok?
I just wanted to check that the no crossposting rule only applies when making duplicates within this site on multiple boards.
Is it ok to post something to these forums that I have already tried asking on another website?

Sure, if nobody has been able to help you elsewhere. The only thing likely to get somebodies goat is for them to spend time posting an answer only to find somebody else has posted the same answer elsewhere, when they will rightly assume that their time has been wasted and they have been disrespected. To avoid that happening, please keep an eye on the other place and if the issue is solved, provide a link and mark your topic here as solved.Than you.
