HI Folks,
I hope this finds you well. I have just joined the forum today and I have recently installed Debian, (I am trying to make it my daily driver.). So rather that jump into technical forums, not really knowing what I am talking about or forum format etc, I decided I would just post a Hello.
I have many technical questions to ask however today is not the time and here is not the place, however, that being said. If anyone has any good threads for new forum users, and new users for the greatest OS ever. Please do guide me in the right direction.
Regards
Major Failure

Re: [Off-Topic] New User Introduction,
Hi, I'm a new user, but also a C programmer, and I wanted to talk with other opensource programmers.
So I came here.

Re: [Off-Topic] New User Introduction,
Anyone have advice on how to connect with fellow opensource programmers? After 10 years of working on a project alone I'd like some help/contributors. It's a game, C programming language.

@Major_Failure
Hello and Welcome
Read how ever much you can per day/week and look at the older threads no more than few months thou,
I store a lot of good info on PDF pages ( Firefox - File - Print - Save to PDF ( look at destination location folder, it can get wrong))
stored in my Distro Help folders finds things that interest you to know more about and there you go, Linux is a treasure trove waiting to be learnt.
Hope you enjoy.

Re: [Off-Topic] New User Introduction,
Thank you so much for the Topic Link and advice. It's been a long time since I have been on a forum, it may take me a while to get settled and learn some etiquette. But I am glad to be here and look forward to my journey,

Re: [Off-Topic] New User Introduction,
Hi,
"m a veteran Linux/FOSS user since the age of Twelve years old. I've distribution hoped quite a bit in the past 23 years. I've been constantly amazed at the sheer amount of distributions based on Debian and there re-spins.
I'm so glad that the Debian community has helped me several times over both in the current year and all of the years that I've used Debian in past years. I can remember how much a struggled with getting things like WiFi, Sound and video cards to work correctly back in Linuxes early days.
