No Files! (Solved)

#1 Post by timlab55 »

Since the update from last time, I noticed that in my boot folder under firmware that there are no files! My pi seems to be working fine, but this is bad news. If I click on config.txt under the boot directory I can see it, and when open it states that this file has been moved to firmware directory. But again their are no files there. So what is the deal with this?
Thanks

There is no config.txt in Debian's /boot. Try the Raspberry Pi forums, as dilberts_left_nut suggested.

It might be better to ask directly on the Rpi forum... But we can already confirm this
Prior to Bookworm, Raspberry Pi OS stored the boot partition at /boot/. Since Bookworm, the boot partition is located at /boot/firmware/.

Are you doing this through a graphical file manager?

Edit: this was a change made only 5 days ago (https://github.com/RPi-Distro/raspberry ... ngelog#L16) and nothing moved, the symlinks were removed

While Raspberry Pi OS is a Debian derivative, this should be discussed on the dedicated forum so that other users can find it and comment on it.

OK. Probably not important for off-topic discussions anyway. But, in the future, you can return to your first post in the thread and click the pencil to edit...

Then edit the subject
