Problem starting the system, grub

#1 Post by keos »

Hello,

I'm having problems with Grub, I have several systems installed, sometimes it doesn't start, I have to restart with the button, the black screen appears, other times it takes a while to start, today it took a long time, I had time to copy quickly by hand, something like that as:
start plymooth-reboot-service
job user@1000.service/stop running
(1 min / 2 min
Thank you.

Starting plymouth-reboot.service should show plymouth reboot screen.
Is it message shown during boot or before boot (in reboot, before computer restart)?

No idea about which is this 'plymouth screen'...
Is it message shown during boot or before boot (in reboot, before computer restart)?
I'm not sure if I understand the question, normally when we turn on the computer, before opening the system, a black screen appears displaying an information continuously, then opens the OS you have. Well there, in that process, is when that information came ... delaying in extreme the appearance of the system.

It has not happened any more, only now there is a small delay (also in that initial black screen) indicating something like it is 'cleaning some blocks' ... and it continues until it opens the system.

In my opinion, it was message before reboot (and due long time, you turned it off by button, which has caused non-clean state of journal of file-system; then it was cleared during next start).
