[Solved] Some apps foonts too small

#1 Post by admiincomp »

I am using Debinan 12 with XFCE fter booting over from windows 10 my XFCE display environment changed. Items like the wallpaper went missing and terminal would take a while to respond.

After resetting XFCE most everything went back to normal accept some Apps now show with small fonts like VLC while others are normal like Mousepad.

Any ideas on how to bring the other apps fonts to normal ?

What is your monitor size and what is your DPI on desktop?

Code: Select all

inxi --edid --filter

I have found the problem, Thanks.

In settings there is appearance then you go to the tab setting, then there is windows scaling which I had set to 2x. I set that value to 1X because it conflicted with the setting display which has scaling as well. i set the scaling only on the display to correct the issue.

symptom before correcting are the mouse pointer was small.

You already know, that you can set size of the mouse pointer in mouse and touchpad setting and size of fonts in Appearance setting, don't you?
