ethtool not found

ethtool not found

When I was on Debian 9 I used ethtool -s eth0 wol g to allow wake on lan to work. Now that I'm on Debian 12.5 ethtool is not installed. Googling why ethtool is not found. I ran across information that ip has replaced ethtool. I've found some commands that ip replaces. But not how to issue the proper ip command to do what used to work on Debian 9.

Afaik ip has bot replaced all features of ethtool. If you need suxh features you probably can install it even if it is not in default install?
