In the "Power Manager"/"System" setting, I have "When Laptop lid is closed" set to "Lock Screen" for both "On Battery" and "Plugged in". It sure does lock when I close the lid but if I leave the lid closed for a longer period (didn't exactly measure it but more than 15 minutes or so), I don't get the Login screen back when I open the lid. Instead it's blank and no matter what I do, I can't get to bring it alive. The only option seems to be hard reboot. It's very annoying to say the least.
I searched around and couldn't find anything that stands out. lshw output is attached. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

[Solved] Asus X515 Laptop lid closing causes hang in Debian 12 XFCE
Re: Asus X515 Laptop lid closing causes hang in Debian 12 XFCE
Likely your machine is going into sleep/suspend mode after a while, and it is not working properly for you.
Check all the 'Power Manager' settings, and make sure to set:
'Put to sleep after' = Never
