[Software] everything over tor, parrotos anonsurf?

#1 Post by hthi »

on debian 12 I want to achieve that debian 12 itself and programs installed on debian are forced to connect to the internet over tor. No tor, no internet access.
https://www.parrotsec.org/
I got aware of parrotos. Parrotos has a program called anonsurf.
https://gitlab.com/parrotsec/packages/anonsurf

Maybe anonsurf meets my requirements? I do not know if anonsurf enables you to select which programs can access the internet. It appears anonsurf is able to force any data transfer with the internet over tor.
Do you know this program? Have you tested it? Do you know how to verify that anonsurf makes all data transfers between computer and internet by tor? Parrotos is non free software. Therefore I do not want to install it.
I will try to install anonsurf on debian 12 and test it. Thanks.

I don't know if it is necessary to stat a thread when you've already posted about this. Perhaps delete the post on the other thread?

How is Parrot non-free software?
Nevermind, I looked at the conversion scripts https://gitlab.com/parrotsec/project/de ... blob/main/

I've ear that using a program like anonsurf or one of it's brethren can cause significant slow downs because your traffic is being passed threw a program such as anonsurf or tor. Of course I haven't had any experience with doing this type of thing what so ever.
