Hello,
I have a netbook that I installed Debian on. The Netbook does not come with an optical/disc drive, but it has a built-in card-reader. I need to run the Recovery CD. Is it possible to transfer the data from the Recovery CD to a memory card and then have the netbook run off the memory card when I boot it up?
If so, please advise as to the steps.
Thank you very much.
Boot from Memory Car, which has data from Recovery CD

As far as I'm aware, the recovery cd which comes bundled with most netbooks is drivers and software designed for Windows (or in some cases, to allow you to access the recovery partition on the hard disk) I don't really see how this question is related to Debian other than the fact that you happened to install Debian on the netbook. You'd probably find a better answer at the forums for your particular model of netbook.
What issues are you experiencing that you need the recovery disk for?
