Have a problem with sound card

#1 Post by crt »

Hello pplz. :)

I have a liitle strange problem on my Debian system.

Distribution - Debian GNU/Linux testing/unstable v 3.1; kernel version 2.6.11-1-686

SoundCard Yamaha 719 (ISA Slot).

With alsaconf system recognizing soundcard properly, with no problems, using opl3sa2 module for the soundcard, isapnp too recognize it properly, without problems. After this i try to volume up and volume down, but Gnome says me that has no soundcard detected.

Here is a result from dmesg, that i got:

I think that everything must be ok, but obviously more things must be done, to get working soundcard.

Any help would be appreciated. :)
